This magnificent set refers to the Mercury project which is the first American space program to send an American into space. A tribute to the pioneers of the space adventure which began in 1958, a few months after the creation of the American space agency. The young NASA had to catch up with the Soviets, which was done brilliantly in 1969 thanks to the Apollo project which brought an astronaut to the moon for the first time in history. We particularly like this edition, because of the detailed graphics of the suits but especially thanks to the transparent visor which gives a really nice additional realism effect! A very attractive Bearbrick for anyone who wants to go to the stars or science fiction fans.
