The artist Jean-Michel Basquiat is a major figure in contemporary art. His remarkable work in the street, then on canvas, made him one of the highest ratings in art. At the crossroads between Pop Art (he was Andy Warhol's great friend) and Street Art, the Bearbricks from Medicom Toy are sculptures paying tribute to the late master.
This new collaboration with the artist's foundation is a work inspired by Dustheads. Bearbrick masterfully creates a new piece by the New York artist which will easily combine in a contemporary or classic decoration.
